I am a third generation Texan and grew up in Midland. My mother was a school teacher and my dad an accountant for the oil companies (before the bust of '86). 

I graduated Texas A&M (Class of 2000) and received my degree in Mechanical Engineering. I went on to receive my MBA from Clayton State University 10 years later.

My first job out of college was with the City of Dallas Water Utilities department. It was there that I realized that being a city employee was a tough and, oftentimes, thankless job. Being young and wanting more excitement, I moved on to a career in aviation. Twenty years later, I still work at a "small" local airline doing the work I have grown to love.

My husband Jeff and I have been married for 7 years and reside at the end of North Mill Street, where we have lived for the last decade. We are also active members of Valley Creek Church - Lewisville campus.
